OpenAI Launches GPT-5.1 with Warmer AI Conversations

OpenAI just dropped GPT-5.1, and this might be their biggest personality upgrade yet. Instead of just making the models smarter, they've made them warmer, more conversational, and genuinely pleasant to talk with.
The company was clearly listening when users said AI should be smart AND enjoyable to interact with. GPT-5.1 comes in two flavors that are now rolling out to users worldwide.
What's changing?
GPT-5.1 Instant is the most-used model and now comes with warmer, more conversational responses by default. It's also got better instruction following, so it actually answers the question you asked instead of the one it thought you meant.
GPT-5.1 Thinking is the advanced reasoning model that now adapts its thinking time more precisely. It spends more time on complex problems and responds faster to simpler ones, making it roughly twice as fast on easy tasks and twice as thorough on difficult ones.
Both models can now use adaptive reasoning to decide when to think before responding, resulting in more accurate answers while still maintaining speed. This shows up in significant improvements on math and coding evaluations like AIME 2025 and Codeforces.
OpenAI is adding new personality settings including Professional, Candid, and Quirky options, along with the ability to fine-tune characteristics like how concise, warm, or scannable responses are. Custom instructions are also better respected now.
So What?
GPT-5 initially caught a lot of backlash for not being as relatable and agreeable as GPT-4o. Clearly, OpenAI wants to bring this back into focus to make sure customers never leave their platform.
And with GPT-5 being relegated to the "legacy models" dropdown after a three-month grace period, OpenAI is signaling they're moving fast and expecting everyone to keep up.

How to Generate AI Videos with Genspark Super Agent

Genspark has emerged as an impressive all-in-one AI super agent that can handle everything from website building to data analysis. One of its standout features is AI video generation using multiple cutting-edge models.
Here's how to generate videos with Genspark:
Navigate to genspark.ai and create an account if you haven't already (must have the paid version to do this).
Scroll down to find the AI Video section in the dashboard. You'll see various video generation options powered by different AI models.
Start generating with sample prompts like these:
"A hiker walking through a misty forest at sunrise, camera slowly panning to reveal mountain peaks"
"Time-lapse of a bustling city street transitioning from day to night, with neon lights coming alive"
"Underwater scene with colorful fish swimming through coral reefs, rays of sunlight penetrating the water"
"A cozy coffee shop interior with steam rising from a fresh cup, rain pattering on the window outside"
Each video model has its own strengths, so you can pick the one that best matches your creative vision right in the interface.
The platform also supports more complex requests like creating an video directly from a frame (image), so go crazy!

How to Spin Up Mobile Apps with Rork

Rork is making waves as an AI-powered mobile app builder that lets you create native iOS and Android apps using natural language prompts. While it's still in its early stages, the technology is impressive enough to warrant attention.
Here's how to get started with Rork:
Visit Rork and sign up for an account. The platform offers a freemium model with paid tiers for more advanced features.
Start with a detailed prompt that describes your app. Be specific about functionality and user experience. For example: "Create a fitness tracking app with a daily workout log, progress charts, and motivational notifications."
Watch as Rork's AI goes through its "thinking" process, generating the initial build of your app. This can take a few minutes as the AI structures the app's components.
Iterate and troubleshoot using Rork's hybrid 3D editor. You can block out spatial structures and use prompts to guide visual details. Think of it like using HTML for structure and CSS for styling.
Test your app on a real device. Rork provides testing options for both iOS and Android platforms, though some features may require upgrading from the free tier.
Rork includes AI-native editing tools that let you make changes conversationally rather than diving into code. It's not perfect, and some users report occasional rendering issues, but for rapid prototyping or creating simple apps, it's remarkably accessible.
We get it. Vibe-coding might be messy alone. Luckily, we have full guides on mastering how to do it effectively (and safely) within our platform!
